In February we took Caroline to the doctor to have her ears checked after failing another hearing test. She failed another hearing test there, but when they tested the nerves in her ears, they determined that she could hear. We decided to remover her tonsils, adenoids and put in tubes with the hope it helped her hear better.
We scheduled her hospital visit for Friday, February 9th. As no one under the age of 18 was allowed back in recovery I stayed home with Owen and August and Tyler took her to the hospital.
Surgery went well. Recovery was pretty easy compared to Madelyn Mae. But, unfortunately, one day after her surgery August got the flu. He was hit hard for 3 days. I got the flu on Monday. Tyler got it Tuesday. Madelyn on Wednesday, she was down for 2 days. Then Caroline finally got sick on Friday. We were grateful that she had a week to recover before she was sick. And Topher got sick on Monday.
Hopefully that is the end of this year's flu season for us!
Caroline has recently wondered why she can no longer snort like a pig!
