Tyler was soon on his feet again - and off North we went!
We made a day trip of going up to Nauvoo,
(I think my favorite part was Luke asking if the horses were real)
then over to Carthage
(glad we were able to get in - it was busy)
and back to Hannibal for a river boat ride
(it was hot, made hotter by August who felt to need to run from one end of the boat to the other and down the stairs across the boat again and up the stairs for the entire 90 minutes in the 100+ weather).
And I didn't post, but everyone laughed at the quick rest stop August had to make on the way home.
It was a nice day.
