Christmas Eve in Minneapolis 2015

Christmas Eve in Minneapolis

We woke up early and went downtown to the Macy's at Nicolet Mall (I guess this is famous) where they have the entire 8th floor set up as a Christmas display - "A Day in the life of an Elf." It was an anamatronic display that was pretty cool.

Lisa - this is for you. Perhaps if you're a good girl next year you can get a date from a fellow like this!

After going through Santa's workshop we got to see Santa! Last minute chance to talk to Santa and let him know what was wanted. August was willing to take a chance with Santa for a piece of candy.

We drove home, cleaned up the house and made dinner - ham, rolls, green beans, stuffing and pink goo (made up raspberry jello/whip cream thing).

After dinner we all opened our Christmas eve gifts! Kids each got a pillow case I had made at Mimi's house. They had a cookie and hung a stocking and off to bed!
