Then we drove out to the beach the next day. We were with Peter/Jill and Katie and Cameron.
The first day at the beach we set up the house and cast the net. It was sooo very hot!
Topher fell right into the habit at the beach. He loves all the organic part of the beach that I'd rahte rather not see. He was not too proud of Peter's skills with the net. Though, August loved all the "Shawks!"
Girls walked around and watched the boys.
The next morning we got up and head to the beach. The kids did not hesitate to get in the water...all of them! We didn't even have time let the camera de-fog before we got pictures of them venturing into the water!
My big kids were not nervous nor hesitated to run out to the sandbar. Caroline followed and it was a little too much for her.
August went straight out to the water, then after a few minutes I think he got a little over whelmed and came out.
Caroline went from the shallows to the shore. She was so cute "fighting" the waves with her bum!
Maddie and Topher wasted no time in "fighting" the waves either. Maddie always looks like a dance when fighting the waves. This year the boy brought weapons.
Maddie rode the boogie board this year - I got a picture of a wipe out. Topher rode his uncle.
Caroline was adventuresome enough to play with Madelyn.
And everyone took a moment to play in the sand and eat some snacks.
What fun days are spent at the beach!
