This past weekend we salvaged what last warm weather there will be in Minnesota this fall and took the kids to a pumpkin patch.
It also had a little farm, train ride, corn maze and hay ride (sans the hay).
Kids had fun. Mom and Dad had fun.
Kids fed the animals first. August watched from a distance. Caroline was amused by the tongue of the cow-like animal.
We "rode" old tractors.
We jumped in a corn pit (I don't know what to call it). Poor little kid in the pit with mine. He seemed shocked and confused by my crazy kids jumping and flipping into the corn pile.
August got a train ride. He LOVES trains right now. He looks concerned in the picture, but he loved it. Maddie and Topher pet a cat while waiting.
There were baby chicks to hold. August tried grabbing them by their heads.
Caroline liked petting the goats. She like their horns.
We forced the kids to take a picture together, I think bamboo shoots up the nails would have been more enjoyable.
I didn't get pictures of the corn maze, that was actually pretty good. Or of the hay ride, sans hay. But we got an apple from the orchard!
