Bikes & Cinnamon Rolls

My days have changed quite a bit. For the past few years I have been up at 6am and out the door by 6:30. Spent all day working and talking with my friends and work. I would get home around 5pm, play for a little while, cook dinner, and put Topher to bed. Spend my evenings grading or planning. Now - I find myself with time to get all those things I let go get done - clean the house, shopping, and working with Topher on school stuff. With the exception of socializing with my friends, I miss nothing of my life from the prior five years.

The kids enjoy playing outside. I like it too. It's fun watching them ride their bikes or play on the playground. I am suprised by few moms are outside with their kids - I can't stand days like today - rainy; where there is no chance to escape outside.

I also like that I have time to bake - I love cinnamon rolls. I prefer mine without frosting, but I tried honey butter on them. So good! I think the kids agree!
