Easter in Powder Springs

As a child Easter was always my favorite holiday. I know you get more for Christmas but the Easter candy is better and I love spring. Today was a wonderful Easter. Flowers and sunshine and time spent with family.
Luckily not too early, kids looked for their Easter baskets. And ate a "few" pieces of candy. August prefers the candy that combines chocolate and peanut butter to the fruity squishy stuff. Smart kid.

After just a "little" bit of candy we enjoyed a big breakfast of grits, eggs, bacon and toast. August enjoyed it so much that it required a bath afterwards.

Later in the day we enjoyed an Easter egg hunt in the backyard.

Overall it was a wonderful day to celebrate our Savior. I would say it was near perfect but unfortunately Caroline started feeling yucky by the end of the day. Sad little thing.
